JOB TITLE: Human Resources Manager
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
OFFICE LOCATION: Corporate: Cartersville, GA
REPORTS TO: CHRO/VP, HR/HR Director
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for helping to maintain operations in the Human Resources Office. The HR Manager is accountable for promoting a high performing culture that emphasizes Quality in all programs, Continuous Improvement/Progression, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion and the development of Succession Planning for continuity in Agency programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Helps to administers programs and procedures to assist align the employee workforce with the strategic goals of the Agency.
Reinforces a positive employer-employee relationship while promoting a high level of employee morale.
Counsels employees in the Progressive Discipline System of the Agency. Reviews the performance improvement process with non-performing employees.
Serves as a direct liaison to employees by fielding questions, and interpreting policy.
Ensures Agency compliance with all federal, state, and labor laws and regulations.
Updates job descriptions while reviewing applications for open positions.
Responds to Unemployment Insurance and Workers’ Compensation claims.
Inputs/updates employee info in HR Systems (HRIS). Successfully submits required Federal & State reporting in a timely manner.
Serves as a Strategic Business Partner to Third Party Administrators and External Clients.
